International cooperation

TUTKOVSKY actively promotes the establishment of cooperation with international public geological organizations. With the organizational and financial support of TUTKOVSKY, the Ukrainian Association of Geologists became a member of international public geological organizations: The American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), the Society of Geologists (SEG) and other influential professional organizations. Representatives of the Ukrainian Association of Geologists – participants of EAGE conferences: 63-ї (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), 66th (Paris, France), 67th (Madrid, Spain), 68th (Vienna, Austria), 69th (London, Great Britain), 70th (Rome, Italy), 71st (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), 72nd (Barcelona, Spain), 73rd (Vienna, Austria), 74th (Copenhagen, Denmark). Within the framework of the 68th Paris Conference EAGE, representatives of Association participated in business meetings on the development of infrastructure and the expansion of the range of EAGE services and its grant policy. Ukrainian geologists also participated in the annual AAPG conferences (Denver, Colorado), regional conferences AAPG in Prague (October 2004) and Athens (November 2007.). In November 2005, the Ukrainian Association of Geologists for the first time hosted the high guests of AAPG. Kyiv was visited by the President of the AAPG Dr. Peter Rose and the President of the European region of AAPG Dr. John Brooks as official guests.

December 7-8, 2017 6th Conference of the Ukrainian Association of Geologists became the place of the presentation of Technological Platform "Implementation of the European Union standards related to the effective and balanced use of energy, mineral, water and land resources in Ukraine". The list of speakers included Juha Virtanen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Ukraine; Komac Marko, Member of the Board of the European Federation of Geologists, Gediminas Čyžius, Director of the DGE Baltic Soil and Environment Ltd.( a Lithuanian subsidiary of the DGE Group).
November 14th, 2017 Institute of geochemistry, mineralogy and ore formation of the NAS of Ukraine held a discussion with regard to joint scientific research within the framework of the international Ukrainian-Slovak project, as well as the lecture by Igor Brosky "Accessory minerals of granitoids of the Northern Carpathians". Participants of the event: Earth Science Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Institute of geochemistry, mineralogy and ore formation of the NAS of Ukraine, PHEI Tutkovsky Institute.

January 31st, 2013 The cooperation agreement between the Mongolian geological society and an Ukrainian Association of Geologists is signed (Ulan Bator, Mongolia)
February 15th, 2012 Opening of the Polish Club in a Private Higher Educational Institution «Tutkovsky Institute». Representatives of the Department of education of the Obolonskyi district of the city of Kyiv, students of the capital’s high schools, pupil’s youth of Kyiv city, and employees of the Nadra Group participated in solemn measures. The club acts thanks to the joint efforts of the Tutkovsky Institute and the Project "Education without borders". The main activity of the club is the functioning of the Polish language courses
November 8–9, 2012 There took place the Regional Conference and Exhibition APPEX 2012, organized by the AAPG European Region on the topic «At the intersection of the Eastern and Western Geological Exploration and Production of oil and gas» (Istanbul, Turkey). All-Ukrainian public organization «Ukrainian Association of Geologists» has acted as a partner in organizing this conference, and the Nadra Group became sponsor of it.
June 4–7, 2012 The 74th conference of the European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers (EAGE), which was held in the capital of Denmark.
March 2012 Ukrainian Association of Geologists received AAPG representatives. Kyiv was officially visited by AAPG President Paul Weimer, Professor, Chairman of the Bruce D. Benson Foundation at the University of Colorado, Director of the Center for Applied Research in Energy Resources and Minerals

2001 At the annual conference in Amsterdam (the Netherlands), the Ukrainian Association of Geologists was adopted into the EAGE.
