Scientific communications of the Hub promote advance of scientific ideas among partners and society, provide feedback between researchers and expertise of the results. Scientific communications is the popularization of scientific ideas through the publication of scientific articles, participation in scientific and technical events, interaction with industry (an ultimate goal is realization to the end consumer), interaction with the authorities (an ultimate goal is to participate in programmes of financing the priority research works).
The TUTKOVSKY International Hub of Natural Resources relates its activities with scientific research in the field of the use of natural resources, embodiment into practice the achievements of science, striving to ensure the development and implementation of effective technologies and equipment. The TUTKOVSKY task – is to ensure communications and partner interaction in achieving new optimal solutions based on the latest scientific and technological achievements in the use of natural resources in the 21st century. The combination of scientific developments and technological capabilities of partners provides a qualitatively new level of solving acute problems of nature management, which can only be obtained through joint efforts.
The main directions of the TUTKOVSKY scientific communications are the implementation of scientific research, discussion of their results at scientific conferences and coverage in publications.
Joint conferences
Scientific and scientific-practical conferences, readings, seminars, other events are held with the aim of publishing and approbation of the results of scientific research of natural resources, provision of platform for direct communication of scientists, scientific discussions, highlighting new ideas and approaches to solving important scientific problems of nature management, formation of new directions of scientific researches.
Scientific events cover a wide range of scientific topics, including problems of lithology and stratigraphy of sedimentary basins, problems of ore-bearance and petroleum potential, including unconventional hydrocarbons, the issue of ore-bearance of the Precambrian and Phanerozoic, problems of ecology and conservation of geological heritage, demonstration of new technologies for geological and geophysical research and extraction of energy, mineral, water and land resources. The TUTKOVSKY has a long history and considerable experience in conducting various scientific events. Many conferences were held with the participation of scientists and such well-known international organizations as APPG and EAGE.
The efforts of TUTKOVSKY were aimed at preserving the traditions of geology. Part of the conferences is devoted to the anniversary dates of prominent geologists of Ukraine: P.A. Tutkovsky, V.H. Bondarchuk, Ye.K. Lazarenko, P.F. Shpak, M.P. Shcherbak, to distinguished events in the history of geological investigations.
In the future, the TUTKOVSKY International Hub of Natural Resources intends to develop scientific contacts between individual scientists, scientific, industrial and public organizations of the world, governments of countries; to expand the topics of conferences and the geography of their participants.

The congratulatory words were addressed to the Congress by Ivanna Orestivna Klympush-Tsintsadze, Vice-Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, as well as Anatoliy Kyrylovych Kinakh, President of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. In 2003, the world community celebrated 150 years of the world oil and gas industry, whose origins are related to Ukraine. In 1853 in Lviv, Jan Zeh for the first time in the world carried out distillation of oil, having received kerosene, and it was here that the first kerosene lamp was created. Kerosene production has more successfully undertaken by his colleague – Ignacy Łukasiewicz. Having developed an active activity, he transferred the bulk of the production facilities to the territory of Krosno (Poland), and later the streets of Vienna began to be illuminated with kerosene lanterns. However, namely Ukraine is the cradle of the oil-and-gas industry in the world. Joint professional publications
The TUTKOVSKY attaches great importance to the publication of scientific results in the sphere of nature management, including the history of geological and geophysical research, discussion and informational articles. Despite this, in 2003 the Ukrainian Association of Geologistsfounded the Geologist of Ukraine magazine, published quarterly for 10 years with the financial support of TUTKOVSKY. The magazine became one of the most famous in Ukraine periodical in the field of earth sciences. On magazine pages were published the original scientific articles of such authors as I. Bahrii, V. Hulii, L. Haletskyi, V. Ivanyshyn, V. Kvasnytsia, M. Lebid, O. Lukin, O. Lukiienko, S. Machulina, V. Mishchenko, I. Oryshchenko, Ye. Patalakha, B. Panov, A. Radzivill, H. Rudko, V. Trehubenko, V. Shestopalov, S. Shekhunova, V. Shumlianskyi and many others. Results of scientific researches of foreign colleagues are presented also.
In 2010-2012, three collections of scientific works of the Tutkovsky Institute were issued.
On the pages of periodicals printed with the support of TUTKOVSKY, along with scientific articles, there were also published information and popular science materials on the problems of nature management. Important for power supply of Ukraine become special issues of the Geologist of Ukraine magazine, dedicated to non-traditional sources of hydrocarbons.
Many teachers and scientists-geologists received sponsorship and charitable help for the publication of textbooks, textbooks, scientific monographs.
