Since the foundation of the Nadra joint-stock company in 1991 and so far, TUKOVSKY annually holds for its staff and guests various corporate events. In the treasure trove of interesting measures of the past years – celebrating the New Year, International Women’s Day – March 8th, Geologist’s Day, Company’s Birthday, etc.

In addition to congresses and conferences where geologists could communicate among them in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the Ukrainian Association of Geologists, with the support of TUTKOVSKY, annually organized a celebration of the professional holiday of geologists, significant dates for domestic geological organizations, anniversaries of famous contemporaries and outstanding personalities of the past.

All-Ukrainian public organization «Ukrainian Association of Geologists» with the financial support of TUTKOVSKY, such awards were developed and manufactured – Silver and Golden badges, «For merits» medals of I, II and III degrees, Award geological hammer. By an anniversary of academician Yevhen Kostiantynovych Lazarenko the medal has been founded «For contribution to mineralogy».

For the devotion to geology and considerable contribution to its development, 327 geologists have been noted with the Silver badges and 290 – by Golden ones. For having contributed to establishing cooperation between EAGE and the Ukrainian geological community, such distinctions were awarded to foreign colleagues – EAGE Board Member Dr. Helmut Gartner and EAGE Manager Gerard Viggerinka. Medals «For merits» had been awarded to 314  geologists. The Association distinguished 178 geologists with Award geological hammers. On submission of the Ukrainian mineralogical society the medals «For contribution to mineralogy» 13 geologists were awarded.

Usually, among the guests invited for the celebrations – representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Secretariat of the President, Ministry of Environmental Protection, State Geological and Mineral Resources Survey of Ukraine, institutes of geology and geophysics of the NAS of Ukraine, international partners from EAGE, AAPG, SEG, Shell, Halliburton, etc.

An important tradition of celebrating the Day of the geologist was the holding of an active program in Hlibivka on the shore of the Kyiv Sea, where the majority of office workers have the opportunity to combine pleasant communication with useful outdoor recreation.

The TUTKOVSKY history is full of significant events. So, 2011 became a special year for the Nadra Group of companies, after all, 20 years ago it was the beginning of the first organization, which became the leading service holding of the geological exploration branch of Ukraine. The main celebratory events took place in a friendly working atmosphere. Participants and guests of the 15th International Exhibition «Oil and gas – 2011», that took place in the Kyiv International Exhibition Center on November 1–3, 2011, were able to attend a briefing and a conference of the Nadra Group of companies dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Holding. The briefing and conference that began immediately after the inauguration of the exhibition, was attended by: P.O. Zahorodniuk, Heribert Lenhart, I.P. Hafych, B.I. Lelyk and other key employees of the holding.

The speakers emphasized that the Nadra Group of companies does not stop at what has been achieved over a 20-year period, is developing intensively, is able to respond quickly to market needs, and is always open to mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields of activity. In honour of the anniversary, the jubilee medals were produced and outstanding geologists were awarded for their merits. Today the TUTKOVSKY – this is a team of like-minded persons, which is gaining more and more experience and becomes an exemplary enterprise, whose activity corresponds to world standards.
